ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

PRE - DEGREE ARTS AND PRE - DEGREE ARTS EDUCATION A minimum of 5 Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include English Language,Yoruba,Religious Studies,History/Government.
  (A Credit pass in Literature in English will be required for English Education)

The five Credit passes must include any of the following: CRK, IRK, Arabic, Gover nment, Nigerian Languages and two subjects from either Arts or Social Sciences. 


3. PRE - DEGREE SCIENCE & PRE - DEGREE SCIENCE EDUCATION

A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings which must include English La nguage, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 


4. PRE - DEGREE SOCIAL SCIENCE

A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English Language and three other Social Scien ce subjects. Those willing to study GEOGRAPHY AND PLANNING SCIENCE must have Credit in Geography in addition to two other subjects. Those willing to study PSYCHOLOGY must have Credit in Biology. 


5. PRE - DEGREE SOCIAL SCIENCE EDUCATION

A minimum of five Cre dit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English Language and three other Social Science subjects. Those willing to study GEOGRAPHY EDUCATION must have Credit in Geography in addition to two other subjects. A pass in Mathematics is acceptable for Social Studies Education . 


6. PRE - DEGREE AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE

A minimum of five Credit passes at SSCE (NECO or WAEC) obtained at not more than two sittings. These must include Mathematics, English La nguage, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science and Physics. NOTE : (a) Credit pass in Economics is required for Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Extension and Rural Development with at least a pass in Physics, (b) Credit pass in Agric Science is requi red for Agronomy, Fisheries, Animal Science, Forestry and Wildlife Management with at least a pass in Biology. 


7. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

(a) Admission into 100 level from Pre - degree is not automatic. (b) Pre - degree candidates are required to take the 2016 UTME and obtain the minimum pass mark of UTME for Universities, and as agreed upon by the University. (c) Admission of candidates will be dependent on their Weighted Average in the two semesters, the UTME score and their rankin g with respect to the cut - of f marks for the chosen courses. (d) Any candidate who did not satisfy all the above conditions and still goes on to pay school fees into the university’s Acc ount would forfeit such fund.

With the PIN CODE, Log on to University of Benin Website: www.uniben.edu. and click on the Foundation Programme Link to complete the application form online and upload a recent coloured passport size photograph (scanned, not more than 3 months old passport) with red background. Webcam photograph is not acceptable. Submit the online application form and print out a copy of the examination schedule slip which should have your user name and password.
Note:
(i)           Fill your Bio-Data correctly as no complaint about wrong bio-data will be entertained after submission.
(ii)          Candidates who upload wrong bio-data will be disqualified and forfeit admission fee.
(iii)        Only coloured print out will be accepted.
(iv)        Print at least 4 copies of the University of Benin online registration form with complete passport size photograph printed in colour.
(v)         Bring the same passport size photograph used for the online registration to the screening exercise and for registration after offer of admission.

About & Description of JUPEB Programme.

Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Certificate enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admission into 200 level of the degrees offered by the University of Benin and other JUPEB – affiliated Universities in Nigeria and universities abroad. The JUPEB Certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level GCE or the Old Higher School Certificate (HSC) or IJMB.
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
Each candidate admitted into the programme will be exposed to an intensive academic work in three subject combinations relevant to their desired field of study. The subjects are broken into four courses labeled 001, 002, 003 & 004 with each candidate taking six courses per semester making a total of twelve courses at the end of the programme. In addition, candidates will also take at least two general studies courses (one per semester). Each course will be examined at the end of each semester but the results in all the courses taken will be merged at the end of the second semester to obtain a letter grade in each subject (i.e. A, B, C, D, E & F). The general studies to be chosen by each candidate will be based on general courses relevant to the field of study.
For admission into the University of Benin and other JUPEB affiliate institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examination for issuing the Direct Entry Certificates, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by departments and faculties of choice

This is to inform all candidates that applied for admission into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta during 2015 Unified Teritary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored 150 and above, that online registration for 2015/2016 Post-UTME Screening exercise for the Polytechnic has commenced.
The e-examination, which will hold on a date that would be announced later is expected to be attended by all candidates seeking admission into all available Full-Time National Diploma Programmes of the Polytechnic.
Candidates, who must have completed the on-line 2015/2016 Post-UTME screening form of the Polytechnic, will within the period, be trained on the use of modern facilities to attempt the screening examination, the result of which will be made available shortly after the screening examination.

Federal Poly Bauchi Post UTME Registration Details – 2015/16

The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi post UTME form for the 2015/2016 academic session admission exercise is out.

This is to inform the general public that the sales of Application form for admission into various National Diploma (ND) programmes in the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB) has commenced.

Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Admission Requirements.

Candidates must possess at least four (5) credit Passes at SSCE/NECO level, or equivalent qualification obtained at one or two sittings which MUST include English Language and Mathematics in addition to any other three passes relevant to the area of interest. All candidates are required to sit and pass for the Post JAMB examination.
All ND applicants must ensure he/she possesses the Minimum UTME cut-off marks of 150.

How to Apply for Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post UTME.

The application form is #2000 for ND programmes.
  1. Go to Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi Post UTME registration portal @ http://portal.fptb.edu.ng/application
  2. Click on the green button with ‘Start New Registration’ on it.
  3. Enter Your Fullname, Phone Number and Choice of Programme (Course) of study
  4. Make sure you enter all information correctly, because your phone number will serve as your password, You can make modifications at this stage as much as you like before payment
  5. After Clicking on ‘Proceed’, A payment information page will be generated for you to make your payment. Print it and proceed to the bank to make payment. You are to use the application number generated for you in making the payment.
  6. On successful payment, you can then login with your application number and phone number as password to proceed with the rest of the application.
  7. You can also make payment using an ATM, Quickteller- quickteller.com/bauchipoly – (Look for Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Logo and Name) or any other medium using your VERVE, MASTER CARD or NAIRA MASTER CARD. Use the one that is most convenient and safe for you.

OSCOHTECH General Admission Requirements.

  1. The admission requirements for National Diploma (ND) Programmes are a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credits passes, in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology from WAEC or NECO, in not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Duration: 2 Years
Admission Requirement: Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes from by WAEC or NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.
2. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) in Environmental Health Technology
Duration: 2 Years
Admission Requirement: Holders of National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology with at least lower credit. In addition to five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes as in 1 above.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN
Duration: 3 years
Admission Requirement: Three (3) ‘O’ Level Credit passes including English Language, Biology, Health Science, Geography, Chemistry from WAEC or NECO in not more than two (2) sittings.
4. WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND SANITATION
National Diploma (ND) in Water Resources Management and Sanitation
Duration: 2 years
Admission Requirement: FIVE(5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any of Physics or Geography from WAEC or NECO in not more than two (2) sittings.
SCHOOL OF DENTAL HEALTH SCIENCE

1. NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) in
i. Dental Technology
ii. Dental Therapy
Duration: Two (2) years for i & ii above.
Admission Requirement
Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics from WAEC or NECO
In addition to the above requirements, Diploma in Dental Surgery Techniques is also considered for admission into NDII of Dental Therapy.

Leading to the award of Higher National Diploma of West Africa Health Examinations Board (WAHEB)
Duration: 4 Semesters
Admission Requirement:
a) RN & RM/Psychiatric Nursing Certificate or Theatre Nursing Certificate are acceptable for Male candidates including Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes from WAEC or NECO including English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.
b) BNSC Candidates from Universities accredited by the National University Commission (NUC), the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), and West Africa Health Examination Board (WAHEB)
2. DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY OPHTHALMIC NURSING
(In collaboration with the Eye foundation)
Duration: 15 months
Admission Requirement: Registered Nurse & Registered Mid-Wife
3. COMMUNITY OPHTHALMIC TECHNIQUES

3. DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNIQUES
(Leading to the award of Diploma of the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria)

UTME entry requirement;
A minimum of WASC/GCE/NECO/SSCE NTC “O” Level with at least five Credits which must include
Physics, Mathematics and English Language.
Higher National Diploma (HND) Programms
ND with a minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology, Aircraft Engineering Technology and a minimum of one year Post ND cognate work experience.
In exceptional cases, a candidate with ND at Pass level (CGPA of 2.49) who has 2 or more years of Post ND cognate work experience may be considered for admission into the HND Programme.
Postgraduate Diploma:
Candidate seeking admission into NCAT PGDATSE must have attained either of the following:
  • A First Degree (i.e. BSc) from a recognized tertiary institution or its equivalent
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized tertiary institution or its equivalent and a Minimum of 2 years Work Experience
  • NCAT Diploma and Professional Licence equivalent with Minimum of 2 years Experience.
For Air Traffic Safety Electronics Engineering, candidates must have BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic, or NCAT Diploma and Professional Licence or its equivalent.

Nigerian College of Aviation Technology Admission Mode of Application:

  1. Obtain a PIN Code from any branch of First Bank nationwide upon the payment of N11,000 Application Fee to the Cashier.
  2. Logon to www.ncat.gov.ng
  3. Read the Qualification Criteria.
  4. Click on ‘Register’ above to fill the registration form. Ensure you type the PIN Code obtained from the bank correctly NOTE: Registration is to be done once. If you have registered before just Login to continue filling your form.
  5. On successful registration, you will receive a success email and SMS from ‘NCAT’.
  6. Click on ‘Login’ to login, then you can start filling the forms.
  7. Edit your Application Profile (This will require a passport photo and your biodata).
  8. Edit your Institution Attended.
  9. Edit your Qualifications (WASSCE, and other Certificates are entered here).
  10. Edit/Upload Documents (Attach your Certificates here). The next section (Declaration and submission of form) will not be displayed untill all sections have been filled correctly.
  11. Print your Acknowledgement / Exam Admission Card.

Allover Central Polytechnic, Ota, Ogun State hereby announces her 2015/2016 Post UTME screening exercise as below.
Candidates seeking full time admissions into Allover Central Polytechnic, Ota are expected to partake in the Post UTME Screening by registering online after paying the required amount for the exercise. The POST UTME screening will run from May 2015 till August 2015.
Eligibility
Candidates who made Allover Central Polytechnic, Ota their first, second, third or fourth choice in the 2015/2016 JAMB UTME APPLICATION FORM.
All other Candidates interested in studying at Allover Central Polytechnic, Ota who DID NOT select the school in any of the choices in JAMB  UTME application form.
Candidates awaiting their O’Level  results are also eligible to apply.

Note
After the completion of the examination, prospective students are to check their admission status  ONLINE from 7 DAYS after each batch of the examinations and print out the admission notification.
The examination is in batches. The first batch of the examination comes up on Saturday 23rd May, 2015 at 11:00 am.
